Where there’s a will, there’s always a way. I am sure that Apple will come to its senses and will end the AT&T monopole; if not, we will continue to find new ways to unlock it.

I think this is a great idea, but i’m just skeptical that Apple will continue to let users unlock the phone.

Why need to unlock these stuff? Didn’t it unlocked by default? So what’s the point of buying 3G capable devices when it’s 3G’s locked?

I was totally unaware that the 3G iphones can’t be unlocked with software, my ipod touch has not been affected with the 2.1 update or any other update. I thought there was an issue with the 2G phones not the 3G
