Wow, I’m really glad that you posted this; I didn’t even know that there was FREE remote pc control software. I think I will check out the “logmein” and the “mikogo” software!

Its funny, all I can think about when I hear the term “remote pc software”, is this EXTREMELY expensive soft from the days of windows 98, which is called “PCANYWHERE”. Man that program cost a small fortune back in the day. And now they have FREE software that does the same thing

Windows remote desktop for XP is pretty useful tool for backing up files from one PC to another, or for transferring files across a network. It can be pretty flakey to set-up through your router, but definably worth the time it takes to set-up.

I knew about the default MS one..didnt know about the others..all you really need is MS to access someone else’s puter and do whatever you want..so I dont see why you would need to BUY a different one?
