Yikes. That is quite an experience. I’m not sure what to say, I’m still waiting on my first $100… All I can say is that I hope when it finally comes, I don’t have to jump through hoops just to get it delivered.

it all depends on the postal service of your area.
in my area the service is worst so i opt for secure delivery
its good to spend 25 bucks instead of loosing the whole money

I think that is absurd! I’m just now about the cross the $100 realm and hate to read stories like this! Hopefully I don’t have a big issue with getting payment. Although I don’t really count on it.

These days , its very difficult to get approved from adsense . I know one of my friend trying for the last 3 months for an adsense account . Though their is some delay in payments , some bucks is always better than nothing..

Great post! Yes my other friends also tell me that they have to wait for an extra long time before their check from Google arrives.. they have never tried the express option though..

Why not go for their payment by electronic transfer? pretty much takes away all the hassle of getting a check in the first place. You can even add multiple accounts too. It sort of works like paypal where they send you an amount ie 0.52 or any random small amount. You then authorize the payment by telling them whats in your account then you get your cash on the 15th of every month. Cant recommend it enough it saved 10 days pain of the check arriving by post and another 5 – 7 to clear .. hope that helps

This doesn’t sound good at all. Google need to lift there game. And $25 to deliver a check? That is very expensive. Google have option to wire transfer money, wonder how that would go.

Yeah, just get your bank transfer setup, I set mine up about 3 years ago and have had timely payments on time every month, ever since.

Now if I can just get them to pay me as much as they used to
