As promised in my previous post, I am happily announcing the release of my current theme Blog Oh Blog Reloaded. This a heavily modified version of Blog Oh Blog V2 theme by Bob. I have worked a lot to modify this theme and give it the current look. You can very well see the look of my blog to get a feel how it will look like.

Blog Oh Blog ReloadedThe Blog Oh Blog Reloaded theme is designed to work on all versions of WordPress till 2.2 ( I have not tested it on 2.3), however there may be some issues with plug-in compatibility if you are using it in versions lower then 2.

Features:

1. This is a clean 3-column WordPress theme and released under Creative Common License.

2. Adsense Ready theme.

3. Built-in and on the fly support for a good number of useful plug-ins.

4. Light version, loads instantly.

5. Widget ready.

Plug-ins support:

Currently it supports all major plug-ins available and it is widget ready too. Check out this blog for a post “Some useful WordPress plug-ins I am using

Installation:

1. Unzip the downloaded archive in your wp-content/themes/ directory.
2. Go to Admin WordPress and select presentation.
3. Select Blog Oh Blog Reloaded theme and it will be activated.

Important:

- To get your users subscribed to your own RSS feed, Open rss.php and replace with your feedburner link, enclosed within comment section.

- The archive contains 4 Adsense code files viz. adsense content.php, adsensemiddle.php, menulink.php, menulink1.php. When you activate your theme, the first thing you have to do is to open all the 4 files and remove my publisher ID present inside the inverted comma in the line google_ad_client =”" . Failing this, click on ads on your site will not be credited in your account.

Demo:

My blog is using the theme but not in its raw format. I have added many modification to the theme and also using many plug-ins. The raw demo can be viewed on my demo site.

Download:

The archive containing all the files of the theme can be
downloaded here.

Support:

  3. Sweet … it’s a gorgeous theme! I like the post ranking plug in (?) you’ve got, and this is the first I’ve seen who’s among us.

  4. @ Forrest,

Thanks for the praise. I will be soon working on another theme.

  5. Thanks Ajay.. i was looking for adsense ready theme and for me this is the best around. I love how the word wrapped around the ads and it does make me want to click on it :) Thanks man!

  6. Just curious as to why you’re “releasing” this here and not on the Blog Oh Blog website? I spoke with the original designer and this isn’t his site. So?

  7. @ Jenny

This is because I have modified the theme at a large scale. If youi will see the original BOb theme and this reloaded theme thn you will get a clear picture.

  8. Great page! Nice work!

  9. @ Radim

    Thanks man.

  10. Very nice theme, thanks for sharing. And for making it adsense ready and widget compatible, that saves us a lot of hours of trying to shoehorn things in ;) Good luck

  11. nice one dude, don’t mind if I download it will you.. base on it demo, it is really looking good and useful, I think I will put it and try on one of my blog. If I have something to report, I do sure to send it to you… nice work man.

  12. Any update regarding support for WP 2.3?

  13. Anand, I m sorry to say that I am not updating this theme any more as I did not receive a good response for this theme.

  14. Wow great theme, I’m guessing that took you quite some time to make. Good job, and keep it up!!!

  15. Nice changes and great menu buttons. I’m looking to modify the column widths to make standard ads fit in easier. Except for the left sidebar, there seems to be too much margin. The right sidebar of 220px is awkward.

  16. nice theme…
