This is a great feature, especially when you have dial up service. I guess I can compose the mail and it will be send automatically once I am online. Thanks for sharing this detailed information.

Seems like a good feature to use if your on an unsecure connection. A little off subject but do you know if you can create a password to place on excel docs in Google Docs?

Im sure a lot more people will use gmail offline after today’s problems with gmail.

Of course you can’t send and receive emails offline but its good for a backup.

I use gmail exclusively for everything and I have many different accounts as I’m sure we all do. But I have one primary gmail account I forward mail to from the other accounts. I assume offline mail will pick up the mail forwarded from the user’s other accounts, too?
