Nice one Ajay! I think apps and cloud computing are the future. At least up to a stage where another technological innovation nullifies it. There’s a lot of money to be made in there.

I was impressed by startup time. Windows 8 is much more faster, To me it seems to be about 200%. Also entire OS is running faster than Win 7.

We’ll have to wait one more year to find out if windows 8 is really worth it, because I have some doubts. Hope that it won’t be a complete failure like Vista was.

It’ll be interesting to see if Microsoft can really pull off a ubiquitous experience across tablets/phones/computers. There are so many differences in computer power and interfaces, I’m not sure they’ll be able to do more than a so-so effort.

The convergence of native and web apps over the next few years will be interesting to see. Things like ChromeOS and Mozilla’s B2G project could propel web apps to even greater popularity.
